This Week So Far... Sorry About Playing Badly... Beehive Posts a Video
I want to apologize for Playing Badly. (my YouTube channel) I have been having a horrible week. First, my transmission blows in my car. Keep in mind my car is an 87 Plymouth Gran Fury which is a reliable car. the car is old and about to hit 100,000 miles. I originally paid very little for the car because I didn't have the funds to buy a new car and well financing is out of the question. so when it blew and I was told it would cost at the low end $1500 I was in shock. I started looking for another car with no idea how I was going to afford it. I talked the issue over with my mother and father and they agreed i needed to get a new car something that i could afford. My mom found this gem of a car a 2003 Honda Accord; no Subaru, but its a good car. the couple who were selling it were really nice and surprised when we offered to buy it the same day we came and looked at it. now this is only half of the story we had this week and my lovely boyfriend Beehive has made a very artiste video showing what we went through this week take a look at his video.

House Explodes In My Old Neighborhood. A Family Friend's House Is Leveled
I got a message from my dad about something that happened in my old neighborhood. thinking it was something small I looked it up. to my surprise an old neighbors house was leveled by an explosion. I was worried I called my uncle who still lives in our family home and he was safe. I wanted to know more so i tried to contact old friends from the neighborhood with no luck. From what i have heard everyone is safe... Thank God. unfortunately my old babysitter's house is gone. This is as it unfolded.

Autocad Projects: Cell Phone Holder For Motorcycle
Working Again With Auto cad
While in college I worked with Solid Works unfortunately I don't don't have thousands of dollars to pay for Solid Works. However from working with these programs I found my self easily lost working on projects. Fun yet challenging and I was learning. reminiscing of the days I worked on blueprints and given projects to work on. After finding out that i could use Autodesk Fusion 360 for free as long as I didn't make any money I was happy. I can now tinker with projects once thought lost because I no longer had a license to use solid works because I was no longer in college. I still want to get back to college one day to finish my degree but for now I will work on little projects that excite me. I will be posting my projects online and on thingiverse.com here is the link for my first project it may not be available for 24 hours because I am a new user. If you want to hear why I stopped going to school click here and tell me what you think.Friday, June 10, 2016

Notes From Puget System
Quiet - Peaceful - Silent... Serenity. The Puget Systems Serenity Pro proves that high-performance computers can still be whisper-quiet. Intel's high-efficiency Skylake processors provide the platform for all Serenity systems, but this Pro variant offers more expansion room inside - at the cost of a larger footprint. We use the already-quiet Fractal Design Define R5 case for this, and many of the modifications we developed to silence the Serenity base model can optionally be applied here as well. The exact noise level will depend on the specific hardware selected, but the configuration options are still limited to avoid any specifically loud components.
If you want great performance combined with very quiet operation, look no further.

First Time Using VR Playing Light Repair Team #4
While i was at PAX East in Boston Massachusetts one of my goals was to try out the VR experience. Unfortunately most of the lines were over four hours and required a reservation. i was lucky because i found a booth behind the Discord area. i started to talk to the guys from Eerie Bear Games who developed Light Repair Team #4. This is my experience.
About Game: Light Repair Team #4 is a light-reflection puzzle game where you play as a light-pipe repair person. Figure out how to properly bounce, combine, move and split light through 25 puzzles so that you can return power to nearby buildings and get the city back on its feet.
The city of New Corona's power grid is none like any other. The city uses light to power its buildings! However, due to flooding and a new canal system to replace old roads and paths, the light-pipe power grid has fallen into state of fragility. It's breaking all the time! As the player, you will play as a light repair person on Light Repair Team #4. What happened to Light Repair Team #1 through #3? Well, thats another story. Use the provided mirrors, lenses and prisms to re-route the light pipes to their proper receptacles.
Sound like a simple job? Well, that depends on how bright you are.

New CPU cooler for BF
So I finally got my AIO water cooler for my CPU working quietly. I had to remove the existing 48db fans and replaced them with Noctua NF-F12 fans. The existing cooler is a Zalman Reserator 3 Max Dual. It's a OK cooler I have some gripes with it but this isn't a review. Anyway because my system didn't need the Cooler Master Hyper 212 which is a great after market CPU cooler for cheap. I again am off point. However I knew my boyfriend's computer was very loud. assuming that it had a AMD stock cooler I decided that he could benefit from the Hyper 212. I got in to his case and omg did I find some dust bunnies. I pulled his heatsink out pulling the CPU right along with it. I was shocked it was as if the heat spreader of the AMD FX6300 was cemented to the CPU cooler. I got out a razor blade and carefully removed the excess thermal compound or should I say cement. Put the edge of the blade between the heat spreader of the CPU and of the heatsink at a corner. I tapped the back side of the blade think the CPU came loose. Eureka the rest was child's play. Got the cooler installed cleaned out the case and hooked it all back up. Tonight he tried out some games he hasn't been able to play for a while and they worked great. I can only assume that his CPU was overheating which was causing a number of problems.
I guess the point of this long story is that you should maintain the inside of your computer at least annually and sometimes all you need to do is a little spring cleaning. This could have been expensive if his CPU burned up or if we replaced his system because we thought it was just shit hardware.
Here is a picture of his heatsink.

HDD Change Out on my Dell Inspiron N5010
Hello all, I'm going to be going to PAX East 2016 in April so i decided i wanted to bring my laptop just incase. i decided to upgrade a few things so that i wasn't packing a noob laptop. (not saying its poo poo or anything) I am going to be hanging out with 7 gamers one of which is my boyfriend check his stuff out here Beehive of Sensual Pleasures anyway i have stats here from www.userbenchmark.com what i started out with was a older i5-460m processor a 500gb sata 2 HDD and 4gb 1333mhz of ram a intergrated Radeon HD4650 and running windows 7 pro.
Couldn't upgrade integrated GPU and the processor wasn't cost effective to upgrade but i had a spare ssd laying around and years ago i upgraded the ram to to 8gb of kingston ram. Also i updated to Windows 10 Pro. Because i upgraded the HDD to an SSD i lost 260GB of space yet i found on Amazon a 2nd hdd bay for only $8usd after swapping out DVD drive i could utilize old HDD. I have finally upgraded everything so i did disk tests and benchmarks and here is what I got. BTW this upgrade only cost me time and $8
WD3200BEKT-00F3T0 Western Digital 320GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0 Gbps 2.5 inch Scorpio Hard Drive

Intro
Welcome to DAC Tech Review. This is where i do tech reviews of items that i buy with my own money for everyday use. I am a everyday person who wants to get the best with least of my money. While there are YouTubers and reviews out there reviewing $1000 video cards i am going to review what the average person will buy. I hope to demystify the technology that we use every day. I also would like to help people understand that it isn't that hard to make old new. Come along for the ride and i hope you enjoy the journey that i want to provide you.
